Josh Briggs
Certified Residential Appraiser & Owner
Josh has been appraising homes in the Chippewa Valley and beyond for nearly 20 years (formerly of Valuation Specialists). He has served as an expert witness in court testimony, is a member of the Realtors Association of Northwestern Wisconsin and has provided educational information sessions to area realtors and lenders. In 2019 Josh founded Above Grade Appraisal as a full-service residential appraisal firm. He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Real Estate & Urban Development from UW-Milwaukee. Josh also plays amateur baseball with the Eau Claire Rivermen as part of the Chippewa River Baseball League, a league he’s participated in for more than 20 years
Tim Brownell
Research Expert
Tim began his appraisal research role with Josh in 2009. He holds a Bachelors degree from UW-Eau Claire. Tim is a fan of all Wisconsin sports teams and outdoor activities including fishing and golfing.
